Penny Black Stitched Flowers

These Stitched Flowers by Penny Black might just be my all time favorite PB flowers!! I think they are both playful and sweet.  I guess you can tell I really like them because I found I couldn't stop using them!! : )

I colored my flowers with something of a Southwest color scheme in honor of my vacation! Yeppers!! When you read this I will be in sunny New Mexico soaking up as much   Vitamin D as humanly possible : )   So many of you cheered me on as my husband, Bob, and I made our way from Wisconsin to South Dakota to the beautiful Black Hills (that we dearly LOVE!!) We never ever wanted to leave the Black Hills but after getting sick last year we find the weather in SD is just too cold in the winter and so I'm afraid we are being "forced" to search for a warmer climate that will be friendlier on my feet and hands.  Sigh!! This translates to mean that we are again searching out a new home and planning another BIG move! Double Sigh!! We don't like leaving SD nor do we look forward to a big move again so soon but honestly we are happy and blessed and trust that the Lord has good things for us in the next chapter of our adventure!  Stay tuned! as I share more about this in the months to come.

Thank you so much for stopping by and if you have the time please pop in and see some beautiful CAS inspiration by my team mates at Penny Black's Simplicity blog.

BIG (((HUGS)))

I'm so sorry you have to leave those beautiful Black Hills. I haven't been back to my native state in many years, but hope to see it again someday! Your next move will be sweet! Warmer climes will do you a world of good. God has you in the palm of his hands, so you're going to do just fine! Your cards are quite lovely! Those blooms are beautiful, and your coloring is expert. Love how sweetly CAS they are! And in such pretty SW colors, too! Take care my friend, and I'm always here for you. Bev

Patti, I am happy to read that the warmer climate will be just the ticket for you to not only get warm, but to feel 100% back to "new normal". It sounds like God is leading you on a new path and we trust in Him, so I think He has this!! Have a great time friend and soak of those rays and find a new home and be ready for the next chapter in your life!! God bless!

What a perfectly delightful trio of cards! The colors are wonderful. Put this all in the hands of God, He'll guide you to your new home. My hubby's late sister and her hubby went on a vacation to New Mexico and fell in love with it. She had issues with her lags and back but felt wonderful while they were there. They had plans to retire there a couple of years down the road. I hope all of the sunshine and warmth is just the environment you need!!

I love those cards you made and all are such pretty stitched designs. I understand why you need to move but South Dakota will certainly miss you. You were a great asset to our state. But wherever you go hopefully, we can keep in touch. Best of luck in your new home when the move takes place. Sending hugs with you.

I can see why these flowers are a fave, they're gorgeous!
Sorry to hear you have to leave your beloved Black Hills, I've googled them and it looks like a beautiful part of the world. Come and live in Northern Ireland - we don't get too hot a summer nor too cold a winter {usually!} - and bring your craft stash with you hahahaha ;)

I'm sorry that you're having to move but it will be a good thing to feel healthier and ready to enjoy the golden years of our age. God bless and give you the guidance for the spot you need and allow you to brighten the lives of your new neighbors.
