I need some pink in my life!

Hello friends : ) Thanks a bunch for visiting me today.  I am here to share a card I created to highlight some beautiful Penny Black product in a CAS way! : )

My Mojo has been missing in action so I turned to Blogland : )  this card was inspired by an old CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.  It seems that brown boxes have taken over my life and I just needed some PINK! I stamped my flowers directly to the card face and colored them with chalk.  Then I popped up a creatively cut panel on top and added my all time FAVORITE butterfly die cut - slathered on as much "Wink of Stella" as humanly possible and I felt better : )

Please visit Penny Black's Simplicity blog for more CAS inspiration from my talented DT mates.

This weekend I am having the BIGGEST garage sale of the century (ok maybe a slight exaggeration.) For months I have been sorting and preparing for this crazy event! Among a LOT of other things.....I have .... I have..... I can't tell you because it is embarrassing but I have "quite a few" paper crafting supplies to sell! I think we could pay off the house if I end up selling it all giggles!  don't worry I saved back a few things to make cards with LOL! Pray for us! I am prepared to do one more sale before we leave if I have to but I really hope I won't have to : )

I really need to slow down! The other day I was in a hurry to go outside… in my haste I ran into the screen door and strained myself! LOL

This is an amazing and creative CAS card. Love the flowers softly peeking from behind the cutout and the butterflies. You may need some pink, but your humor is showing and you are hilarious! Good luck with your sale, and watch out for those screen doors!

Isn't it wonderful that making a simple and beautiful card can make a world of difference in your day? And then you pass it along to someone special and it completely changes their day too. What a beautiful card this is Patti. I'm so glad you found a way to add pink into your day. You'll get through this! Happy packing my friend.

What missing mojo?? This card is GORGEOUS Patti!! I love just that touch of soft pink and am totally in love with the layout of this card! And those butterflies are SOOOOO pretty!! Wish I loved closer...I'd come help you with your BIG sale and maybe even bring some of my crafty stuff I've been thinking of getting rid of! Although with my luck we'd end up trading for each other's stuff and then I'd go home with just as much or more stuff than I came with...oh brother!! Anyway, hope it goes well and you feel much lighter when it's done!! Take care my friend! :0)

Missing mojo? I think this card shows otherwise: absolutely jaw-dropping stunning! Soft, delicate, swoon-inducing! If I lived closer, you know I'd be lending a hand. Sending positive thoughts that everything you want sold, sells, so you can tick another task from your 'to do' list!

Awww lovely card, that die is just so pretty! Hope the sale went well, I would have loved to have had a rummage through your crafty stash! My hubby has no clue how much my stash has cost, I keep telling him I won it in a challenge when another crafty parcel pops through the mailbox hahaha ;)

The soft colors of the flowers are only slightly overshadowed by that wonderful die, Patti. I'm sure it's a relief to have the sale over and things out of the house.
