Hello dear friends,
I can't tell you how much I have missed you! and missed seeing all your amazing creativity over these past few months. I never meant to disappear ... what started out as a couple of days turned into a couple of weeks and the rest is history.
In my absence I have done a little traveling and had some visitors. I have worked on finishing some old sewing projects and started some new ones. I have continued with my on-line water color classes and enjoyed some bike riding, reading and lots of relaxing.
One thing I have not done any of is card making! My "stash" is incredibly low so when Jill Foster invited me to play with "First Snow", the newest release from Penny Black, I was pleased as punch!!
Penny Black has done it again. You can see the entire "First Snow" collection HERE. This is such a sweet release!! trust me - even though the temperatures are getting colder..... even here in the Southwest... this collection of adorable! is sure to warm your heart.

Sounds as though in your absence you have done some wonderful things which is great :). I watched a Youtube video of the new release last night and was in awe of all the beautiful stamps <3 I adore the teddy and love the colour you choose to color him........As a teddy collector I approve hehehehe. Lovely to see you back and hope you share as you create a stash of cards. Lyn

I am so happy to see you back in blogland. We have been worried about you, but so glad that you have been fine doing other things. We certainly missed all of your beautiful cards. Your card is so adorable and beautifully colored.

Oh Patti, how I have missed seeing you on blogland! I am so happy you are back to inspire me...I was needing some "Patti channeling" *wink. I totally understand and think it is quite healthy to take a break and do other things and "live life"! I have been doing a bit of that myself...I worked ahead on some things and then it looks like I am still playing, but not really...I do miss getting to my friends blogs though, but sometimes it seems there is not enough hours in the day to do everything! I will write you a letter about how Jalen is doing with the diabetes. It is very stressful for my daughter...more to come later. But welcome back and thank you for this new enabling...ha ha, I love what you have colored and she is so darn cute...I think I might need her...I am afraid to go to the site because there will probably be lots more of what I absolutely know I "need".
