Cards for Boys with Penny Black

Hello friends! Thank you for stopping by today : ) my buttons are sort of busting because I am again being featured on Penny Black's blog to help promote their newest release... Full Bloom!!

I am well blessed with lots of little boys in my life!! and am excited to share a few cards I made for some of them. : )

My first two cards use the same products - but as you can see I took some liberty with the second card and transformed the image into something an older boy might appreciate even more!

I simply masked off the bottom of the bear's feet, made a little snip to remove the top part of the cut out and drew in the top of the soccer ball.  It really was easy!

The supplies I used for these cards:
#30-554 ...A Star
#51-543 ... A Star Cut Out
#51-541 Number 1 Cut Out
Colored with Copic markers

This set is so sweet! It comes with eight different names you could add to the trophy.

Supplies I used for this card:
#25-007 Dotlets Stencil colored with tan dye ink
#30-537 Number 1
#51-541 Number 1 Cut Out
Colored with Copic markers

LOVE! these pups!!!!

Supplies I used for this card:
#30-566 Friendship
#51-540 Friendship Cut Out
#51-490 Which Way to Love (banners)
3.75" and 3.25" Circle dies
Colored with Copic markers

I just love seeing products from the Penny Black new releases begin to show up on cards all over Blogland.  I am continually impressed with how each of us interprets the products differently!  The new Full Bloom release has been such fun to play with!! There is tons of inspiration on the Penny Black blog every day! I hope you will visit them often.

I hope to see you again here on Monday because I will be sharing some Penny Black tiny critters that will make you want to throw out your mouse traps!!

So Much Sweetness with Penny Black

Today I have the honor of being featured on the Penny Black blog with these sweet cards I created using Penny's newest release:  Full Bloom.

Even though there is not a complimentary die with this sweet envelope filled with flowers it was very easy to fussy cut out. I added some gold thread that I stitched on to the card face.  Sweet and easy as pie!

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-570 Bunches for You
#30-555 Family Sentiment.
I created a hand made stencil using a 3.75" circle cut from vellum - inked with yellow (not green) dye ink.
I colored the flowers with Copic markers.

I fell in love with this darling set!! I created this card for a long time friend whose DIL is about to deliver her first granddaughter.  I wanted to give this the softest and pinkest look I could so I created clouds using pink dye ink!! The sentiment is not only darling it is so true!! LOL

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-556 Love & Cuddles
#51-542 Love & Cuddles Cut Out
#30-555 Family Sentiment
#51-486 Stitched XOXO die
I colored the elephants with Copic markers

I loved the pink clouds so much in the previous card that I decided to do the same with this card for my adopted Mom.

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-556 Love & Cuddles
#51-542 Love & Cuddles Cut Out

Colored with Copic markers

I think there are so many many things you can do with this great set!! I used it in two different ways to give a glimpse at the versatility.  I can picture either of these cards being perfect for a surprise party or even an announcement of a new baby!

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-568 A Secret
#51-442 Window Treatments Colored with pink dye ink
Image colored with Copic markers

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-568 A Secret
Image colored with Prisma Pencils and shaded with Gamsol
Popped up panel sponged with dye ink

I hope you will check out all the incredible inspiration on the Penny Black blog this whole month as designers from all over blogland share cards they have made using this fantastic new release!! As a matter of a fact please come visit me on Thursday because I will again feature cards from this new release... this time...  "Cards for Boys"!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

I have a fresh card to show off some beautiful Penny Black products.

This card has a lime green card base with two panels on top.  The first panel is stamped with the Floral Medley #30-616 stamp and colored with Prisma Pencils shaded with Gamsol. The second panel is attached to the card front with foam tape.  As you can see I cut the lower section using the pretty Curved Stitch die #51-435.  I added the love die cut from Love & Miss You #51-494 from black card stock and glued it directly to the card face.  : )

Enjoy your day!!

It is a Fun Friday! new release from Penny Black

Hello friends and thank you for stopping in to get a look at my newest Fun Friday post! featuring a brand new Penny Black image just released TODAY!!

Their newest release, "Full Bloom", is available in the Penny Black on-line store  right now!! so grab your pocket books girls this is a good one!! : )

I went a little wild when I saw this new image LOL I really love this art style.  I created my two cards for two different occasions using the same image for Darnell's Twofer Challenge where the prompt is Zoo Animals : )

I masked off the top and sponged some ink on the bottom of this card for a nice place to sit my chic leopard.  I colored the flowers with Copic Markers and the cat with colored pencils blended with Gamsol.

I started this card by embossing a frame on the card base. Then I created an ombre background for the big cat on a separate panel and attached it to the card base using foam tape.

Two fun cards that were simple to create!

I hope you will join Darnell's Twofer Challenge with your Zoo Animals and I know you'll want to visit the Penny Black blog to see what Jill Foster has prepared to inspire us all!!

Have a wonderful day!

Fun Friday with Patti & Penny

There are lots of fun things about Fridays but for me the best part about this Friday is promoting the new Timeless 2019 release from Penny Black.

Cards don't get much easier to create than this one.  I cut an A2 card base, top panel and butterfly from the same card stock.  I stamped and embossed the butterfly with detail white embossing powder, added the sentiment - popped up the butterfly then attached the top panel with foam tape.

Here is another easy one in the same basic color combo.  I started off stenciling polka the dots and sentiment on a card front that had the corners trimmed on two sides.   This sweet little critter was stamped on a panel cut from Snowflake stitches and colored with Copic markers.  The top panel is popped up using foam tape.

Thank you for stopping in today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! and that you get to spend it doing something you love.
