Hello crafty friends!! It is Friday and you know what that means....
and the chance to win my BLOG Candy!! Scroll down for all the details.
Today I am being featured on the Penny Black Blog
HERE. This opportunity came to be because I was invited to work with Jill Foster, Penny Black's Social Media Director, to create a bunch of cards for the PB marketing department. The cards we made were created using "TOP SECRET" prototypes of the two new catalog releases:
"Autumn Wishes" and Magic of the Season" both catalogs can be seen HERE.
This card was super fast and easy. I masked off the area that I wanted to ink up and then I inked it up LOL Maybe I should not write these posts late at night! Next I stamped the the ornaments from
"Merry Jingle" # 30-375 stamp set and embossed it with Silver Embossing powder. Then I cut three "Joy" die cuts from the
"Love & Joy" dies #51-021 and glued them one on top of the other. I mounted the top panel to my card base using fun foam and then added a few silver sequins. This would be such an easy card to "Mass produce" if you need to make several Holiday cards quickly!
Here was another fast and easy card that I love!! Cut an A2 size card base and set it aside. Then cut a
"Manger" #51-254 - from a piece of card stock cut to 4.25 x 5". Removed the center portion of the die cut out and and tape the Manger Scene back into your front panel. Using the top panel as a guide for placement - ink the Ombre background on to the card base. Stamped sentiment is from
"Holiday Snippets" stamp set #30-307. Finally mount your top panel to foam and glue it to your card base. Nothing could be easier : )
My last card today was one of my favorites to make. I tore a piece of Post-It tape and laid it on my card front before inking the landscape from dark to lighter at the top of the card. Next I stamped my sentiment from the
"Yuletide Wishes" stamp set # 30-382. All that was left to do after that was to cut the trees and deer from
"Beneath the Birches" #51-270. I glued the trees directly to the card front but I popped the deer up with foam tape to give it some dimension. Maybe the series today should be called "Easy Peasy!"
I mean it when I say I LOVE this release from Penny Black!! There are so many ways to use these beautiful products!! Understanding that the Wish List is sometimes bigger than the pocket book I am offering $25.00 in your choice of Penny Black product to be won by one of my commentors : ) Keep reading to see how you can have the chance to win.
