I used a double sticker for almost every little butterfly you see on these cards. Simply done - just apply your first butterfly where you would like it and add a tiny dab of secure glue to the top of the body. Next remove the stickiness from the second sticker using an embossing buddy or powder. Then line up the second butterfly over the first on top of the glue. I sort of bend up the wings to give dimension as you can see in the picture above.
EF is by Anna Griffin for Cuttlebug. Flower was created using two stickers separated by foam tape. Stickles Glitter Glue applied to the top of the bouquet. |
EF on the left "Script" by Cuttlebug, EF on the right is by Anna Griffin for Cuttlebug. Circle and scallop shapes by Spellbinders dies. Sentiment from The Angel Company. |
Embossing folders on white are so elegant! You can use almost any embossing folder to achieve this same elegant look! Always add something interesting on the inside of your card too!
Within the same gift assortment try changing the card size and orientation.
This is a 2.5 x 3.5" gift card. EF Anna Griffin for Cuttlebug. Sentiment from The Angel Company. |
This is a 2.5 x 3.5" gift card. EF Anna Griffin for Cuttlebug. Flourish die cut from "Parisian Accents" by Spellbinders. Sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes by Stampin Up. |
Inside of the above 2.5 x 3.5" gift card. Flourish cut from "Parisisn Accents" by Spellbinders |
For an added value consider adding multiple style appropriate sentiments in your gift pack. If you do remember to place some double sided tape on the back of each sentiment so that the recipient can easily select the sentiment they would like to use - remove the tape backing and attach it to their card : )

Hi Patti,
Anyone would be so blessed to recieve this card set as a gift, how sweet! Love, love!!
AWESOME! I LOVE THE COLORS AND LOVE THE EMBOSSING FOLDERS!!! WOULD LOVE TO MAKE A SET OF THESE MYSELF. YOU ARE SO CREATIVE AND MAKE BEAUTIFUL CARDS, YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION!
Shut the front door! That was THE most amazing post EVER, Patti! The information and the inspiration and these really stunning cards just blows me away! I've a bunch of stickers but they always seem flat to me on my cards. I so appreciate all the ideas you have provided for making them look totally not flat!! I'm bookmarking this to come back to it, too, and will give you proper credit when I use any of your ideas!
Thank you so much for stopping in to visit my place and leave me some love so I could find you! I am your latest follower and I would love to have you follow me, too, if you like! Hugs, Darnell
Wow Patti, it's amazing that you created all these totally awesome cards for so little! They really are very classy and feminine - absolutely stunning, hugs Carole Z X
Thanks for your fun comment, Patti! Sorry about the following harassment. I forget that people follow me through Bloglovin and Feedly. I like seeing them in the thumbnails on my side bar or I don't think they are. I need to slap myself. If you do want to join that way, just click on the blue "join this site" same as folks do here on your site (although people are having trouble with Blogger these days). Anyway, I'm delighted to have you following however you want to do it! Hopefully, I'll remember! Hugs, Darnell
WOWZER!!! I just don't know where to start. Awesome collection of cards, my sweet friend! Inspirational, elegant and sooooo versatile. That colour combo is so classy and timeless. Stunning job!
hugs, Asha
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! My very dear MIL would love these cards! I may have to try to CASE them. And I love your embossing folders! I think I should add some to my collection :)
You stopped by my blog and commented on my "paper cottage"….lots and lots of thinking went into that before I actually started :) I love how it turned out. I've contemplated decorating it for different seasons and holidays but as of yet I have not.
Blessings,
Michelle
Hi, Patti. I also think white embossed card stock looks so rich. Also those stickers are surprisingly classy looking! Very nice card set and I'm sure someone will treasure it for a gift.
Thanks for the nice comment you left on my card for the "oldest tree stamp" SOS challenge. My blog is all about how I am trying to not buy so much and use up my stash.
Love your cards!! Create and save all in one place, your the best!
Patti, this card set is exquisite! I had to scroll over a few times to see how you created such beauty!
I can't believe how little they cost you to make
