Get Well soon!

I didn't mean to take a break from blogging after I finished my 100 cards in 100 days challenge but it turned out that way.  I have been very hard at work (and play) : ) and my "photo studio" has been disassembled so even though I have been making a few cards I have been unable to take pictures of them.

I have also had some very unhappy events happening in the lives of some very close people in my life.  My Dad was rushed to the hospital last week with a serious heart problem.  He is home now resting well after having a pacemaker inserted.  That was too scarey! : (  He is 85 years old and I am tremendously grateful we still have him with us.

Two days ago a friend text me to let me know her husband had been rushed to the hospital after having a serious accident in his garage involving his hand and a grinder! He is also home resting after a dreadful ordeal! : (  I made him a similar card to this one.  I surely hope this is the last time I will ever! need to use this ambulance from Papertrey Ink's darling stamp/die set.

My card design was CASED from one of the design team members for Papertrey Ink but I'm sad that I can't remember which member - so sorry.  They used PTI city stamps but I don't own them so I substituted some sweet houses from a retired Stampin Up set.

The Special Delivery stamp set is really fun and versatile!! Here are the links to where you can buy these products:

That is it for today.  I am so glad to be back and hope to get around to some challenges and visiting more blog friends soon.

I think you deserved a break after 100 cards but so sorry to hear that you've had such sad events going on. Glad your father is okay, and your friend's husband as well. Nice card and I'm sure it was appreciated.

Your card is super cute. It's unfortunate that you needed these for your dad and your friend's husband. I hope both are on the mend.
