WOYWW 266

WOYWW is an acronym that means, What's on your workdesk Wednesday! the number is the number of Wednesdays that Julia Dunnit, owner of the Stamping Ground blog has been hosting this fun weekly hop.

This is my first time for playing along... I think... LOL it is crazy but I thought I had joined the WOYWW fun before but I have searched my past posts and can't find it.  I must have chickened out.  So anyway here is my maiden voyage and a little look at where I do my papercrafting. : )

Today's card is my 90th card in 93 days : )  I only have TEN more cards to create in my personal challenge to make 100 cards in 100 days! woo hoo!! I am offering BLOG CANDY that you could win simply by making a comment on today's post.  See THIS POST for all the deets.

Before I show you my card here is my workdesk today : )

I have been wanting to try this CAS style with Papertrey Ink's Doodlie-Do stamp set.  It is simply a one-layer card with the exception of the flower centers which I layered for the slightest hint of dimension.  They are not popped up but rather glued flat to the card but after cutting them out I ran the rim of the cut out on my black stamp pad so it was really nice and dark making the centers stand out a little more : )

I colored the card with my Prisma colored pencils and shaded them with Gamsol : )

And here is my workspace.  I took these (bad) pictures in March.  I had completely transformed a "storage room" into a craft room so I could really spread out! heehee and wanted to get a few snapshots to show a friend of mine who lives out of town.  These were taken at  night so the lighting is terrible and the pictures are mostly blurry.  They definitely do not show off the wonderfully bright space I have because of the two windows in the room but I thought I would include them anyway - you'll get the idea.  I have seen some pretty amazing workspace/playhouses *wink* and I know this space is not remarkable but it's mine : ) and it works like a charm.  With only slight modifications two people can comfortably work at my desk too because it is 8' long.

Some sewing supplies are concealed under the table but there is plenty of room for my feet as this table is 36" deep. Behind me, when I am sitting at the craft table, are some crates with storage in them.

I don't actually sew in here for my neckStyles™ business but this room does have some of my sewing supplies for my personal sewing : )

That is it for me today.  I am going to get in a little card making and a little blog visiting and then off to the lake for some fishing with my best friend!! : ) A happy July day! Have a great day. ; )

I love the simplicity of using stamps and then colouring them in. It's really effective.

Your card is fabulous! I love how you colored the flowers. I really need to practice this because I want to learn how to add color. Maybe you can teach me. Love your pictures of your craftroom! Plenty of room for a friend or two!

Hi, Patti! Your card is beautiful - love how you coloured it with pencils! I just read somewhere that doodling/doodled images are very trendy right now!

I had fun looking at your craftroom - I looked carefully at each photo and tried to guess what all the stuff was, hehe - I will have my own craftroom in the new house and I am soooooo excited about it! Much better than my dining room table!

You are getting so close to your goal - only 10 more to go, my friend. And I know you can do it!

First of all, your card is GORGEOUS! I need to learn to color like that! I just ordered a set of 24 prisma colors. It is somewhere to start since I didn't want to take the dive to buy a bunch of copic markers! Your craft space is wonderful! I can see why you are so creative...lots of space to work from!

No wonder you are so creative and productive! I'm out of town, so not playing, but when I saw this in my blog roll tonight before turning in, I had to welcome you to WOYWW!! Hugs, Darnell

Like me, you have got a beautiful workspace, Patti! It's lovely to have so much space, isn't it. Your doodle card colouring is just gorgeous... beautiful vibrant colours! Thanks for your visit and your nice comment about my diet - and for the advice about drinking lots of water. I knew it helped with the hunger pangs but didn't know it actually helped shed the inches too!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Patti!!! I love the colors you used in this happy birthday card. It is so pretty. Great job.

I was looking at the picture of your desk and I notice your color coach! LOL, I have one the same one. Its in my storage all the way in Atlanta. I haven't seen that in 7 years. It brought back memories. Such a useful tool.

Super card! I love the coloring especially since I rarely color with pencils and I have no idea what Gamsol is LOL! And it's nice to see the space of a fellow crafter! Looks like you've got lots of room to spread out!
