A Whole lotta SORTING going on!

Before I begin my post today please join me in welcoming my two newest followers, Gillian, owner of Made with Sparkle blog and  and Kara Lynn owner of Kara Lynne's Card Designs blog.  If you look in the dictionary under TALENTED these two girls picture will be there!! Seriously - you wanna visit these blogs : )   Thank you for following me girls!!

Sorting and Sorting and more sorting!! How does one manage to collect all this SCHTUFF as Darnell would say! : ) I've always said our kids are going to have a blast sorting my things after I'm gone : ) They will no doubt mock what appears to be some pretty excentric little treasures like baggies filled with crazy random things, and odd sized sheet of paper with notes written all over it saying "Dont Ever Use this" and so much more : )  I'm having some of these same feelings myself as I sort through my schtuff these days.  But each treasure has meaning and value and I doubt I will be getting rid of much heehee because I really do NEED all of this!

Last night I grabbed some of these odd little finds and created a card!

I doubt I purchased these things to put on a card but it seemed like a good idea last night.  I think this would be a cute little card for a boy - even a teenager : ).

I am blessed to have a very nice "photo studio" for taking pictures of my scarves.  I use it for my cards as well.  Because of our upcoming move the photo studio has now been dismantled to make room for boxes.  I'm afraid my card pictures are really going to be poor until I can get the studio set back up again in South Dakota.  While I am not pleased with my pictures now I sure am reminded how blessed and spoiled I've been. : )

That is it for me today.  I hope you are all enjoying a great week!!

Oh this is brilliant! I love the soccer background - would never have thought of that with the hex's but it's just amazing - and the little game on top is so neat. I have lots of treasures too! Things I NEED. I'd totally have a bag of these little games if I ran across them at the store!! Really wonderful card!

From one good state to another! While (and I know you know this...) I live in WI, I was born in SD, so it's all good. Hope your move goes smoothly, and you get your craft room set up just as fast as you want it! Now this is a clever card idea! I can think of several grandsons who would love a present on a card. Might have to try this sometime! Totally brilliant. Love the hexie match too! Sweet!!! Bev

Patti- you are a delight!! An absolutely talented, fun, spunky, amazing person!!! What a super cool idea to put that fun little trinket on a card!! FANTASTIC idea!! You are a genius - and don't you just hate getting rid of something you just thought you had to have at some point - It is so hard for me to part with SCHTUFF!!! Oh well, I wish I could be there to lend a hand as you go through this moving process - good luck to you, you are in my thoughts!!!

Oh how fun are these little 'game' cards?!? Super fun idea, Patti.
I am constantly thinking "who is going to want to clean up my craft room (or any other room in my house) when I'm gone? A daunting task indeed! :-o

Hey, Patti! You've crossed my mind lately and I wanted to pop in to see how you're doing. I haven't seen you post anything for such a long time and I've been wondering how you're doing and what you've been up to! I can't believe it's been over a year since you last posted. Hope the move went well and that all is okay. Thinking about you...
