Serendipity Stamps July Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!! It is time for the July Blog Hop at Serendipity Stamps.  When you Hop with us you will have a chance to win a  $20.00 gift certificate to the Serendipity Stamp store simply by leaving a comment. One comment on each Design Team Member's blog means more chances to win.  You have until Sunday July 24th to visit each blog and leave your comments.

 Our theme this month is:

Believe - Create - Dream - Imagine

There was just something about a Dandelion Puff that seemed dreamy to me as a child.  We would blow on those feathery little puffs and  as the little seedlings were carried into the wind we would let our imaginations soar and make a wish! ........ As an adult I know that Dandelion Puffs are the enemy and must be destroyed! LOL  But lets go with the dreamy childhood memory today, OK?

One of the things I love about Serendipity Stamps is that you can sometimes get different sizes of the of the stamps you love.  For my next card I used a larger version of the same Dandelion Puff image.

This is a hop so I'll stop writing so you can stop reading and get hopping! : )   You should have arrived here from Miriam Napier's blog and the next stop on the Hop is Carol Mayne's blog.

Here is the line up.  Remember the more blogs you visit and leave a comment on the better your chances you have to win.

Patti Kehl (that's me)

Do you want another chance to win? simply link a card to our current monthly challenge where the theme is:

There are so many fun ways to interpret this challenge! We hope you will Just Add Water : ) or a water theme on your card and join us in the gallery.  One entry will be selected for a $20.00 gift certificate to the Serendipity Store.  You have until July 29th at 12 p.m. to link up!

Speaking of childhood memories check out the 50% off Stamp of the Month!! How cute is this!?!  You can also enjoy free shipping July 20-24 on all Continental US orders $25 and more.

Thank you for hopping with us today! now head on over to the amazingly talented Carol Mayne and get ready to be inspired!

Oh my goodness, Patti, these two cards are wonderful! They evoke such sweet memories of blowing on the dandelion puffs. Your color choices are perfect to get that magical quality. And to boot, you showed us two wonderful ways to use the same set. Fabulous! Hugs!

They are both gorgeous, Patti! Love the softness of the first card, nice way to show how versatile the stamps can be! I too used to love to blow those all o er the place then my dad told me I was making more weeds:( sounds sad but he is a great dad, just didn't want weeds on the lawn.

Dreamy, delicate and beautiful! I, too, remember blowing the dandelion puffs as a child, wondering where those little seeds of 'magic' would land on the journey I'd initiated. You've showcased these stamps marvelously! I was aiming for 'magic' with my cards, too (yours are far more beautiful)...great minds, right? *grin*

Wonderful card designs and love the soft colors. And, thanks for a memory from childhood for me too...blowing the puffs of dandelions into the air. Life was so simple back then I think and we got entertainment from the little things in life.

Wonderful and so delicate, just like dandelions!

Love the soft beautiful colors! And especially on the first one how you repeated the background color in the stamped dandelion image. Had to laugh at Marybeth's memories of her Dad scolding her about weeds. Now when I see a dandelion puff I pluck it and put it in the trash or I just stomp it into the dirt to keep the seeds from spreading further!

These are both so beautiful. I like dandelions as a stamp way more than I like them in my grass!

These are amazing!! I love the color you gave to the flower on the first card. Then reversing it on to the background on the second. Great design!

I love how you used the same image and created two very different looks - I love the softness of the first, and the drama of the dark colors on the second!
