CAS Stencil Challenge

Hello friends : )

I am here with a card for Loll's first ever CAS Stencil Challenge!! Check out all the details of this fun new challenge HERE

I created a rectangle stencil from velum paper and sponged turquoise ink before adding some stenciled snowflakes.  Then, using some 1/6 " Post It tape (correction tape) I masked off a little border around the original rectangle.  Finally I stamped my sentiment! : ) Easy Peasy and ready to pop in the mail!!

Please join me in the gallery at the new CAS Stencil Challenge as well as at the, always fun, CASology challenge blog where the theme is "Frozen"!!

BIG (((HUGS)))

This is beautiful Patti! Love the soft and delicate (and icy) colours of your blue sponged background with those gorgeous snowflakes sponged over top. The framing is so unique and creative. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil, my friend! xx

You are the QUEEN of using softly blended colors to make a big impact on a card, Patti. I adore what you created here! The soft blue frame (with postit tape, brilliant) and the snowflakes are so pretty. I love that sentiment, too. Where is that from? Papertrey? Penny Black? Thank you so much for sharing this lovely card! Hugs!!!

Brr, I felt a shiver down my back looking at your icy blue rectangle with its snowflakes that was fixed when I read the "warm' sentiment. Lovely color, design and super sentiment!

Simply a gorgeous card with the soft blue stenciling and the great sentiment. I have several January birthdays in my family and would love to know where this is from?

That added border really adds to the design, Patti. It's like looking through a window pane at the gently falling snow.

Your masked stenciling is fabulous, Patti! I'm in awe of this sentiment... are the months interchangeable? or is there one for each and every month?
Gorgeous creation, my friend!

A gorgeous soft card Patti, lovely work with your sponged stenciling - a great effort making your own vellum stencil - the border looks really cool, nice sentiment too. Thanks for sharing with CAS Stencil
