Hello friends : ) I have a quick post for you today because I didn't want to fail to wish my Blogland friends a SWEET day!!
I have been super busy lately and it isn't all just wrestling with my new computer, which seems to block my normal routines every time I turn around! eeek!!. I began helping out in our family business for a couple of hours each day back in November but in February it sort of catapulted into full time (+) . I enjoy the work and love helping my husband and sons but it has not left much time for anything else... including housework! LOL I wonder how I ever did it when I worked full time!!.... oh yeah it was 24 years ago heehee .... that might have had something to do with it!
Progress has inched along on my great grandson's quilt and my newest watercolor painting when I have found free time before I fall into bed at night but I am happy and healthy and blessed! : ) I will share some progress photos soon.
I will be spending more time in my crafty space next week so I will be posting and visiting more - I promise : )

Patti, it was great catching up with you on your blog to see what you have been up to. Computers are great but can be so frustrating too. What a lovely Valentine message on your card. Wow, I saw your watercolor painting and just trying to pick my jaw off the floor. They are stunning, beautiful, amazing and more. What a talented lady you are. Glad to hear you are doing well and just busy. Hugs, Linda
Hello there friend and Happy Valentine's Day to you!! It's great to see your postings! Your card is just as sweet as can be with your recipe! I just love it! Sending hugs
Yes, those 24 years do tend to catch up with one!!
Love that sweet card, Patti, and all the best with the work + quilt + craft + + blogging and the new computer!
My turn with a new computer is coming, slowly - it has landed in the country, but is now 'quarantined' because of the Corona virus... it came from China :(.
All very character building, and i am more than thankful I have a computer on long term loan!
Blessings
Maxine
I am glad it is just a case of being more busy that is keeping you from doing your wonderful card creations. And I love that you did sneak i this beautiful card in this post. Happy Valentines Day to you and yours too.
What a beautiful card! I love the unique rectangle you used. Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh boy, Patti! Life has a way of keeping us from the fun stuff at times doesn't it? How wonderful though, that you are able to help in the family business. I'm sure you are hugely appreciated, too. Your card is lovely. I like those kinds of recipes the best. And I like the unique die you used to frame the recipe. Adds lovely interest. Wonderful card. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hope you had a lovely valentine's day Patti? I am so happy that you are happy and blessed but don't work too hard my friend x. What a beautiful card with a wonderful sentiment x.
Lovely valentine, Patti. I totally understand the back-to-work thing. I only worked part-time but did work December and January when the church secretary left without notice and I was the only one who knew the financial program. I also happened to be in a cast on my right hand the first month. Talk about challenging and tiring but I did enjoy it.
Sounds like you're busy, busy, busy Patti!! LOVE your card and that's a gorgeous squiggly die you've used too!
This is really one of the sweetest cards, Patti! Glad you had a little time for yourself to create. Full-time work after being retired for many years must be very hard and tiring. But it good to feel needed and I'm sure your hubby and sons are so thankful you are working with them. Take care and remember to put your feet up once in a while. xx
What a great recipe this is, Patti! Gorgeous card, my friend! I don't know how you do it all and now working full-time; remember to take some time for you!
I am relieved to hear that you are fine and just working a lot! I tend to overreact a bit when someone's blog is quiet. This Valentine is fabulous! It is one of my favorites that I came across this season! Don't let that family of yours work you to death! Heart hugs!
