Cooking up some thanks
Before I begin my post today I want to welcome Carmen owner of Carmen's Creations. Thanks so much for joining me : )
I also want to THANK YOU!! all for the wonderful comments you have been leaving me to cheer me on in my goal to create 100 cards in 100 days! With every comment is another chance to win my BLOG CANDY and who doesn't love Blog Candy!?! : ) See the details of my little give away HERE.
Plus I wanted to reply to all the funny comments regarding my wherewithal to do a photo documentary of my "House Mouse" visitor. The fact is my husband is a photo journalist (by hobby not by trade) and has taught me well. He was not home that day so I knew I MUST get the whole thing on "film" for lasting entertainment : ) heehee. I once LITERALLY had an ermine in my house! I am not kidding!! I had left the door open momentarily while I ran out to capture a bag that was blowing in the back yard and it must have scooted in. This happened just days before the first snow fall of the year so this amazing creature was in it's winter coat all ready for the snow - white as snow with a black tip on it's tail. I freaked out! when I saw it in the house and did NOT get pictures! LOL I regretted that then and now. All I had to do to get it to leave was open the door again. It was MORE than happy to leave. It was at least as scared as I was and it was probably a bit deaf from my blood curdling screams too. : ) ahhh! life in the country : )
So without further ado.. another House Mouse card. This one I created for my friend's Mom. She is a wonderful Mom who lives in another state and sends her daughter treats and gifts regularly. The practical kind heehee like tooth paste and tin foil. I love it! I also love how she never forgets to include something for me when she sends her collection of great deals. I made this card for her and will be sending it off along with some special salt! Something practical and delicious too.
I also created another card, almost the same, for my stash - you can never have too many House Mouse cards right?!
Have a wonderful day friends.
Patti

Eeeek Squeak, how cute is this HM? I really do need to dust off my Mice and make some cards with them.
AND, those adorable brads are the greatest accent for the sweet image, Patti. Your friends Mom will love your thoughtfulness :-)
