Tummy Full Of Treats

Hello friends : )  I have been busy! how about you?? This week I got my Christmas cards out, sent hApPy mAiL!! to some VIPs, have almost finished decorating the house with my snowman collection and even managed to get in a  "little" card making : )

I thought I would pop in and share some lovable treats I made with my BFF.

These tags were created using a stamp set and die collection from Papertrey Ink.  They are so incredibly quick and easy to make.  I CASED blogland's friend, Marybeth, owner of Marybeth's Time For Paper blog by adding "zippers" to the back of the tag so that the candy could be removed without spoiling the tag.  You can see Marybeth's post HERE.  Thanks a bunch, Marybeth, for the brilliant idea!!

I have a couple special little girls in my life with food allergies so I left out the candy on a couple and filled the tummys with an even better, more long-lasting treat - beads and string enough to make several necklaces and/or bracelets.

What are you planning for your day today? I can't decide.... I might do some baking OR! make some cards with baked goods on them!! LOL they are a lot easier on the blood sugar!! and the waist line!! heeheehee.  Whatever you are doing I hope you are having fun and making fond memories : )

Oh my goodness, Patti! These are absolutely adorable! What a wonderful treat gift idea. And I love the one with the beads for kids who can't enjoy candies. Your penguins sure make me smile! And so did the wonderfully beautiful card you sent me. It is even more beautiful in person. Thank you SO much! You are very talented! Hopefully, I'll get some crafty time, but don't hold your breath! :) Hugs!

That unknown comment above was from me, Jeanne, but I didn't realize it was linked to my band booster parent email account. I forgot to log out. Oops!

Oh Patti...these are absolutely adorable with the treats AND the beads! I filled mine with goldfish crackers to make it look like the penguins were eating fish...haha!! I loved Marybeth's idea to use a zipper tab too...what would we do without our crafty friends to help us out from time to time?!! I'm sure your little treats are going to be thoroughly enjoyed!! Have a wonderful weekend my friend!! :0)

So adorable and love the faces of those cute penguins and what lovely sentiments. Marcia has a fun idea too with fish's inside for the Penguins to eat X hope you get some backing and cooking done and don't forget that calories don't count over the festive period. Don't know when the start date is though,,, LOL xxxxx

Such cute and creative penguin bags. I need to watch that video. No family coming for the holidays this year. Do you have family coming to visit you? One of the side effects of living where it is warm, but far away from home. I got your Christmas card yesterday. Even more lovely in real life. Thanks!

Patti, I only wish some days that I had food allergies! LOL I LOve those little beads - would you believe I still have the one made for me at birth? Yes. in the dark ages someone in the hospital actually strung these beads with our last name on it!
Darling treats for your VIPs!

These penguins are so cute and how clever to add the beads/string for the kiddos!! Penguins need to be cute because in real life they put up a stink!
