Happy Hexagons - Thinking of you

Hello friends : )  I'm excited to be getting inky today! I've been super busy preparing for our big Mother's Day Sale at neckStyles™, my little scarf biz on Etsy, that I've had to turn my attention from my beautiful papers to some beautiful fabric instead : ) But everything is running as it should so I'm back to playing with paper today!

Before I continue with today's post I want to send a BIG shout out!! to my newest followers!! Jenny B from Owl Be Crafty, Jenny from Jen's Paper Obsession, Elly - all the way from the Netherlands! : ) at Elly's Creations and a great big (((Hug))) for Shawna Standish! : ) Welcome welcome!! I hope you will visit often and be inspired when you do. : )

Today I wanted to make a card using my new Happy Hexagons Stamp Set from PTI.  I love how you can line these stamps up and create a quilt like pattern simply by eying it up. I used Real Red and Crumb Cake inks from SU.  I love how these two colors coordinate.  I chose a sentiment from CTMH "Card Chatter - Sympathy" and then went to my button bin to dig for the perfect buttons.

While I was going through my buttons I came across a sweet collection of buttons from Making Memories and decided to break my resolution NOT to think of anything relating to winter for at least 6 months! LOL and create a Christmas card.

Aren't these little buttons cute? I have had them forever!! and hate to use them.  But in an effort to begin USING my supplies I surrendered!

That is it for today.  I have been getting a bit behind in my goal to create 100 cards in 100 days but I am not worried. : )  so far I have completed 33 cards and I still have 69 days left to go before I complete my challenge and draw a winner for my BLOG CANDY! Thank you for leaving a comment on today's post.  In doing so you qualify for a chance to win.  See THIS post for all the details!

Have a super day!

Patti

I really am in love with the hexagon craze right now. I usually am not big into the geometric designs, but for some reason I love the hexagons LOL! I like the buttons you added. Both of the cards have a comfy, warm feel to them.
