Life is Sweet
This beautiful collection of roses is from the "Life is Sweet" stamp set by Papertrey Ink. How do they do it!? I cannot believe how beautiful and detailed these - three step stamping - roses are!
I have had my eye on the Life is Sweet set for a long time. It is not new but it is new to me... this week as a matter of a fact! : ) I have often seen the lovely roses featured on cards and admired them but I must admit I was really disappointed when I first opened my new set. Three? oh gees three stamps to make one rose!? eeek! what are the chances of lining it up right? and.... ugh. I have had multiple layer stamps but have never been all that pleased with the outcome. This set is different!
I made this card in about 5 minutes! This cluster of three roses was literally the first stamping I did with this set and... well, not to brag, but it is perfect! LOL wow!!
The leaves are just two step stamping and are equally perfect. I have cut each leaf and the flower cluster from the matching dies. I adhered the leaves directly to the card front but I popped the flower cluster up with some foam squares. The sentiment is a retired TAC stamp and the flourish is a very old clear stamp from Lil Davis Designs. I trimmed 1/4" off the side of my A2 size card so that I could let my rose extend over the side and still allow it to fit in the envie. : )
You will be seeing a lot more from me using this tremendous PTI set.
