Sweet!

Here are some sucker holders I made for my grand daughter's pre-school class. They were really fun and easy. I kind of measured my sucker and folded and snipped until I got the holder the way I wanted it. I punched out the square piece in the front and did the same inside my CTMH "friends forever"sentiment. I glued a piece of acetate inside the treat holder, added my sucker and glued it all together. I had found these little heart rings a few months ago at a local thrift shop - so I slid a ring on each child's treat. The face of the ring comes off and exposes a little heart stamp : ). At the last minute I added the ribbon across the face of the window - up til that addition it was just "ok" once the "Be my Valentine"ribbon was attached I decided I was done! : )

Thank you for looking and Happy Valentines Day!

CPS 153 by Papertrey Ink

My absolute favorite papercraft supply company is Papertrey Ink. I really love their products, their incredible ideas and their entire design team. If you have never spent time hanging out at the Papertrey Ink blog and the designer's individual Blogs I recommend you take the time to go and get your fill of EYE CANDY!! : ) This week at CPS the sketch is sweet! The sponsor for the challenge is Papertrey Ink!! so it is a winning combination!! Here is my "take" on this weeks challenge. A card that was inspired (lifted) from the archives of Papertrey Inks : )
I created this card using papers by Bo Bunny for my daughter, Sarah, who I truly love deerly!!
Thank you for looking!!

February Calendar Page

I just love my February calendar page! (can I say that?) I used a black & white patterned paper by Scrapbook Walls and over laid it with a 12 x 12 cut out paper by Li'l Davis. The cut out paper is delicious! with a variegated color going from a lighter shade to a darker shade at as you go to the bottom of the page. I really like the cut out papers and have recently begun to experiment with creating my own 12 x 12 cut out using the Cricut Expression! If I have good success I will post some of my papers here later.
I used "A Child's Year" for the sweet little cut out. I used the "Paper Doll Dress Up" cartridge and the "Designer's Calendar" cartridges all by Provo Craft. I love all of these cartridges!! some I own and some I've borrowed from my friend. The ones I don't have I hope to own soon : ) For the three hearts I used an Embosslit die by Sizzix. These little hearts were easy peasy because they cut and emboss at the same time!
After my photos were taken I added my pictures - I also added some soft subtle accents to the actual calendar page and some hearts to accent the date of the birthday dates of my friends and family.
February celebrates our son, Jeremy, grand daughter, Melanie, nephew, Patrick, great nephews, Bo & Zane and friends Missy, and Janice. A great big Happy Birthday to everyone who celebrates in February!!

New Home

Here are some cards I have made but not previously posted to my blog. Perhaps I posted them to my favorite chat site ISC 's gallery but here they - are new to my blog.

I have my February Calendar page all done (I love it!) but I haven't had the time to get a picture of it. Until I can coordinate my time with the sun : ) (I prefer natural lighting when shooting pictures of my cards) I will take some time to post a few "oldies but goodies" before I post my February calendar page. I hope you will enjoy the cards. I will not take time to post the supplies I used for each card - but if you have any questions about any of the cards please just jot me a comment and I will answer any questions you might have : )

Thanks a bunch and thank you for your comments!
