Penny Black has gone wild!

Hello friends : )  Yep! you heard it here first.... or something like that : )  Penny Black has gone wild with the most adorable images evah!! Check it out!!

Grey is for Elephants : ) I wanted the only pop of color to be the flowers in the "vase" so I let my card stock color and my elephant be just a soft grey. Really soft and pretty but kind of ok for a "guy card" too I think. : )

An easy peasy and super fun shaker card for my turtle loving great nephew!!

The next two cards were my favorites to create I think.  I really got hooked on two Radiant Neon ink pads and stenciled these backgrounds to highlight these images that I L.O.V.E!!

The Wonky Squares die reminded me of giraffe spots! so I created a stencil by cutting the die from vellum paper and walla!!

I am being featured today on the Penny Black blog.  I really hope you will pop over and have a look. My cards are all the same as what I have posted here today but if you go you will get to see Milla's cards! one of my "sisters" from the Simplicity Sisters blog.  Milla is not only sweet she is a talented card maker! You won't want to miss her cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!  : )

Hello friends! Thank you for stopping by today : ) my buttons are sort of busting because I am again being featured on Penny Black's blog to help promote their newest release... Full Bloom!!

I am well blessed with lots of little boys in my life!! and am excited to share a few cards I made for some of them. : )

My first two cards use the same products - but as you can see I took some liberty with the second card and transformed the image into something an older boy might appreciate even more!

I simply masked off the bottom of the bear's feet, made a little snip to remove the top part of the cut out and drew in the top of the soccer ball.  It really was easy!

The supplies I used for these cards:
#30-554 ...A Star
#51-543 ... A Star Cut Out
#51-541 Number 1 Cut Out
Colored with Copic markers

This set is so sweet! It comes with eight different names you could add to the trophy.

Supplies I used for this card:
#25-007 Dotlets Stencil colored with tan dye ink
#30-537 Number 1
#51-541 Number 1 Cut Out
Colored with Copic markers

LOVE! these pups!!!!

I just love seeing products from the Penny Black new releases begin to show up on cards all over Blogland.  I am continually impressed with how each of us interprets the products differently!  The new Full Bloom release has been such fun to play with!! There is tons of inspiration on the Penny Black blog every day! I hope you will visit them often.

I hope to see you again here on Monday because I will be sharing some Penny Black tiny critters that will make you want to throw out your mouse traps!!

So Much Sweetness with Penny Black

Today I have the honor of being featured on the Penny Black blog with these sweet cards I created using Penny's newest release:  Full Bloom.

Even though there is not a complimentary die with this sweet envelope filled with flowers it was very easy to fussy cut out. I added some gold thread that I stitched on to the card face.  Sweet and easy as pie!

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-570 Bunches for You
#30-555 Family Sentiment.
I created a hand made stencil using a 3.75" circle cut from vellum - inked with yellow (not green) dye ink.
I colored the flowers with Copic markers.

I fell in love with this darling set!! I created this card for a long time friend whose DIL is about to deliver her first granddaughter.  I wanted to give this the softest and pinkest look I could so I created clouds using pink dye ink!! The sentiment is not only darling it is so true!! LOL

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-556 Love & Cuddles
#51-542 Love & Cuddles Cut Out
#30-555 Family Sentiment
#51-486 Stitched XOXO die
I colored the elephants with Copic markers

I loved the pink clouds so much in the previous card that I decided to do the same with this card for my adopted Mom.

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-556 Love & Cuddles
#51-542 Love & Cuddles Cut Out

Colored with Copic markers

I think there are so many many things you can do with this great set!! I used it in two different ways to give a glimpse at the versatility.  I can picture either of these cards being perfect for a surprise party or even an announcement of a new baby!

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-568 A Secret
#51-442 Window Treatments Colored with pink dye ink
Image colored with Copic markers

The supplies I used for this card:
#30-568 A Secret
Image colored with Prisma Pencils and shaded with Gamsol
Popped up panel sponged with dye ink

I hope you will check out all the incredible inspiration on the Penny Black blog this whole month as designers from all over blogland share cards they have made using this fantastic new release!! As a matter of a fact please come visit me on Thursday because I will again feature cards from this new release... this time...  "Cards for Boys"!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
