Awwww...such a sweet, sweet card Patti! And even if they don't have tongues, the little birdies can still open their mouths to catch snowflakes, right?! :0)
The card, the scarf...yes I see it!! Your card is darling. I like the crisp white and the soft aqua background. Hmmm, I'm not sure if they have tongues. But I suppose if they can catch bugs, they can catch snowflakes!!
You are going to laugh because I just googled if birds have tongues and most of them do! They are different than ours (obviously) and have bones. They are also different for different birds. Fascinating! You learn something new every day. Thanks! As for your card...it's beautiful! The color scheme is so soft and elegant and also cheery. So happy for you that your home business is so successful! Have a happy week! Hugs!
Why YES they do!!! Patti when the Pileated Woodpeckers would visit our forest, and stop by to feed, they would get the peanut butter suet stuck on their beaks - we had plenty of opportunities to get a shot of their tongues!
LOve your fabulous card, and the gorgeous color you've used!

Such a pretty card Patti! I don't think birds have tongues....but who knows! I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas!
