Merry Friday!

Hello friends : )

Why did the one armed man cross the road?  ....because he wanted to get to the second hand shop!

It is Friday and the sun is shining and I have my windows open! We are predicted to see 70* this weekend and it is a GOOD day! so lets laugh!  : )

Have you noticed that it is much easier to make and enjoy Christmas cards when it is warm : )  I created my card for both the Merry Monday Challenge and the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  I hope you will join me in support of these two great challenges by entering your Christmas cards in their galleries.

I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up and some ancient patterned paper from who knows where and a Gingerbread house and sentiment from Papertrey Ink : ) If you need some specifics on the supplies I used please let me know : )  because I am off and running! I have a few hours to enjoy this beautiful day and I need to turn off this computer and go!! : )

Speaking of going..... where do cows go on Friday night?......  to the moooovies : )  Whatever you do with your Friday night I hope it is filled with blessings from Jesus!! : )

Thank you so much for stopping by I appreciate you!

BIG (((HUGS)))

Wow, Patti, what a great combination! Love the embossed snowfall as well as the stitched die-cut hill. Having that round piece of gorgeous snowflake paper behind the little gingerbread house was brilliant. It really shows off the blues in the image. Love that you used grey to stamp the image to keep things subtle. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Oh gosh is that little gingerbread house ever sweet!! This is a delightful card Patti, I like the shades of blue. YAY for your warm weather! We had a beautiful day until about 5:30 when the wind blew in out of know where, I thought we were going to OZ!! Temps dropped and the rain began. Ahhh...spring in Ohio!

Beautiful card, Patti. I have a difficult time creating Christmas cards, period...LOL When it's warm it doesn't feel quite right and when I need them, I'm too rushed. So happy you are able to make them as this one is so pretty. That gingerbread house is charming and the paper is lovely. They work together wonderfully to create your scene. Thanks for the giggle with your jokes, too. Hope your weekend is fabulous! Hugs!

That's a darling little blue house, Patti. I asked my sister to get the embossing folder for me from her SU demonstrator. It adds to much to your card.

what do you get from sitting on the snow too long? ..... polaroids!! Oh, the blue paper and the embossing folder are so clever and the house stamped in gray and blue finishes it well! Jesus blessed this weekend with meeting our two sons and their families in Eugene for a great Italian dinner to celebrate Jim's 70th!
