Merry Monday - no stamping

Ok girls here is a brain teaser for you.  I will give the answer at the bottom of my post : )

I travel all over the world but I always stay in my corner.... What am I??

Merry Monday challenges us to make our cards this week with no stamping on them! : ) I love LOVE love!! die cuts so I had lots of fun ideas in my head for this card.  I ended up choosing to use a piece of pre-printed paper from a Papertrey Ink Wonderland Kit and a favorite snowflake embossing folder. Easy Peasy!!

I hope you will join the talented gals at Merry Monday by entering your - no stamping - card in the gallery! : )

Over the next couple of weeks and months I will be in the throws of sorting, throwing, donating, garage selling and packing in preparation for our move New Mexico!! We are so excited now that we have made our decision to go but the work isn't going to get done by itself : ) For this reason I will be taking a semi-break from card making and might be a little bit sketchy on my visiting.  I will still have my English/card making classes with my Mexican friends and I will still have some obligations for Penny Black that I will be posting from time to time - I might even be forced!! to join some fun challenges : )  and naturally I will need to drop in for a joke or two heehee but I am excited for this part of the adventure to get under way so I hope you won't forget me. : )

With all that said I would like to invite you to stop back on Saturday morning to see what I have created as the May Guest Designer for Just Us Girls challenge blog. : )

Ok you've waited long enough.....  a stamp!!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by friends!! I appreciate you!

BIG (((HUGS)))

This is the prettiest holiday card! The peppermint stripe twine brings a wonderful festive touch to your pretty design. I always feel good after sorting and purging things in the house! How exciting that your organizing is for your upcoming move! No worries about visiting, you have a lot on your plate. Looking forward to any post you have time to make!

A beautiful card, Patti. That paper is so pretty and I love the embossed background. The reds are so pretty and vibrant. Oooh, I'm excited for you for this new adventure! I don't envy you having to pack up though. Good luck with all of that. I'm sure it will be fine. You will be missed, that is for sure. Happy to hear you might pop in from time to time. Thanks so much for sharing. Yay! I had the answer to this joke. Usually I don't. I've been sharing some of the ones you post with co-workers and making them smile. Thanks for that! :)

So excited for you, Patti. I know moving isn't easy and from SD to NM will be quite a climate change. At least I'll have four weeks of your wonderful cards on JUGS. That DSP worked beautifully for your MM card.

Patti, you've created a most fabulous card, and managed to use two of my favorite things! dry embossing, and die cuts only!
I'm so excited for you ... and can't even imagine ever forgetting you! Good luck, my friend. That moving business is stressful, but so exciting, too!

Your care is so beautiful using only die cuts. I love it. I love the festive design too. Good luck on the packing. That is such a job but I am excited for your move to a new home too. But please don't forget to keep in touch with us folks here in South Dakota. Thanks for the riddle too. I enjoy those bits of humor you inject now and then.

Cute joke, never would have guessed that! Your card is adorable. Great idea to use patterned paper instead of stamping - quick and easy and beautiful!
