When you all encouraged me that the God must have something better for us than the "dream house" we lost I tried to keep a stiff upper lip : ) but some days it was hard. We had two different Property Management sites that we visited daily but there was just nothing that we loved. Out of desperation we finally settled on a house that we didn't much care for but that met all of our immediate needs. In the process of researching that property we stumbled on a home that was listed by a "regular" Real Estate company's Property Management division.
We almost couldn't believe our eyes!! It is a beautiful home on 5 acres with a magnificent view!! Guess what the street is.... Calle de Paz which means Street of Peace in Spanish! is that COOL! or what!?! God not only gave us a FAR BETTER home to live in He reminded us that He has gone before us to prepare a path of peace : ) all we need to do is receive it. Wow!!

Verna's prize is eight brand new - in the package NBUS stamps from my FAVORITE stamp company, Penny Black, of course : ) Because I have already packed up my photography studio I am linking to each of the stamp sets on Penny Black's store. One of the stamps, Sweet Nativity, is discontinued so I was unable to link it.
Congratulations Verna : )

Sorry I was so late joining your linky - I had it on my list and I guess I just needed to look at the list! Big congrats to Verna on the win! Well deserved - her cards were so funny!
Best wishes on your move and settling into your new home!
Wow! Well I guess it was meant to be that you found what you did! That sounds wonderful and huge congrats to you as well as the winner!! :) HUGS
I am so happy for you and knew God was taking care of this. Can't wait to see the house but with that view I would live in a tent in the backyard! Wonderful news. Congratulations to Verna - her card made me laugh too.
Thanks so very much Patti. That is an awesome prize you are sending me. No excuse now for not having designs for Christmas cards. But what makes me most happy is that you have found the perfect home for you. As much as I know you did not want to leave the gorgeous home you had now I feel this is what God wanted all along for you. So it just goes to show that our Lord will care and provide always for us. Thanks so much and I can just feel the happiness you are having now.
Congrats to Verna, and looks like she’ll have a Merry Christmas! Patti, I’m way behind in blogland and was just catching up on you. So where are you moving to with this view and five acres? I can’t imagine cleaning house for a big move. It was bad enough when we got all new flooring throughout our house. Bes5 of luck!
Oh Patti, I'm beyond HAPPY for you!!! GOD...IS...GREAT!!!
I'm so happy for you Patti!! I knew it would all work out. Your granddaughter is getting married ... you must have been a child bride!! Enjoy the wedding!! xx
Oh Patti, I'm so very happy for you, and Bob! God is so very good - and you deserve this blessing of a wonderful home... now cut to the chase: how's the guest room? lol

I am so glad that everything turn out so much better for you. Having faith in what God has in store for us is so much better than feeling let down. What a view you have, it is awesome. I can imagine you looking at the mountains and taking a deep breath of appreciation. Congrats to Verna that is a great and generous gift. Where in Wisconsin are you traveling to? We will be going north to Minneapolis this weekend. I will wave to you. Have a great wedding.
I am very behind in my commenting and missed that you lost the home of your dreams. God works in mysterious ways, doesn't he and this picture is just too beautiful for words. Congrats to you on finally finding a place. When do you move or have you already? Take care my friend.
Oh and what a beautiful card, too...
Oh dear, Patti! I don't know how you're ever going to be able to make any more cards? Not with a view like that!! Woweee!
Many congratulations to Verna x. I am so very pleased for you Patti. I am delighted that things have worked out. So sorry you had to go through such a stressful time to get to a happy ending x. Sorry too not to have made you a humorous card but I don't have any of those types of stamps....I am sending lots of hugs instead x.
Hope your granddaughters wedding was magical? What an elegant and classy card too x
I guess should have stopped by your blog before I sent my email! Disregard...LOL. WOW!!! I can't even imagine waking up to that view! I am so happy for you! You are blessed! HUGS!!
God is so good if we only trust in Him. You'll never forget that when you look at all the wonder He has created right out your back door. I wish you well as you settle into your new home, Patti.
