Spa Day

Nothing like a Spa Day right!?... I have never actually gone to a spa! LOL am I really missing something? Maybe I need to try it.  I think I may be too cheap because I think of the cost of a Spa Day and then weigh that against buying paper crafting supplies and so here I sit with clogged pores and ooodles of nifty stamps and dies!! LOL

I have been doing a fair amount of relaxing lately though.  I have been working hard on my watercolor classes.  These two pictures were difficult for me.  I won't try and point out all the problems but I will tell you the farther away you get the better each picture looks.... kind of like my complexion! LOL

Painted on 12 x 16" watercolor paper

Painted on 9 x 12" watercolor paper.  The color is really off in this photo.  I tried to fix it but is is a bit less PINK!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by! Have a wonderful day : )

BIG (((hugs)))

Oh Patti your water colouring is amazing and the subtle colours of the hydrangea look stunning x. Such a fun spa day card with a great sentiment x. I love the relax feeling a spa day can bring but wish I could do it more often x.

Your spa day card is adorable!! But I agree ... think of all the art supplies we could get instead. :)

Your watercolouring is AMAZING, Patti! You should be so proud of what you have done! xx

Your card is loads of fun Patti! I've never been to a spa either, but I think we're both holding up alright LOL!! Now about your paintings...hang on let me pick my jaw up off the floor... Wow WoW WOW!!!

Cute and fun card. But what really inspires me is your paintings. Those are gorgeous. You are so talented.

Your card is terrific. I always enjoy your light touch with color. I've never been to a spa either. I used to have acrylic nails and got those done and I've had I think 2 pedicures in my life, but that's it. I'm with you! I'd rather spend that money on crafty goodies. As for your watercolors, I'm sure in your eyes there may be some issues, but in my eyes they are stunning and gorgeous! The white rose is lovely and I like seeing the colors in the leaves. The hydrangeas are glorious! Oh my, wow! You are mega talented! I can't even imagine how wonderful your watercolors will be when they rise to your standard of good. Crafty hugs!

Your card is the cutest and I agree, spa day is the best and often needed, so glad you included these pictures of your art work. They are amazing and I know the work that goes into creating one. You are the GOAT!

Your spa day card just cracks me up Patti! I've never been to a spa either and for the exact same reasons as you...I'd rather spend any extra I have on stamps!! And don't be so critical of your paintings...they're both absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Hugs. :0)

Patti, I haven't been either - but I did always enjoy this cute Spa Set!!
I'll tell you what, if I had your talent with a paint brush, I'd save my stamp money, and get those gorgeous paintings framed!! God is in the details, my friend!

Your spa day card has me giggling right along with your comment about it! I feel the same way Patti!! LOL!! I cannot say enough how amazing your doing with your watercolor lessons! I'm not sure what class it is your taking, but it would be something that I would be interested in taking for sure!! Thanks for sharing your lovely art work my friend!

You have a “green thumb” for painting beautiful flowers, Patti. The rose shading astonishes me. Your hydrangea is so soft and lovely in the plum shades. I’ve had a couple spa days in my almost 69 years and they were wonderful but not as wonderful as new crafting goodies! 🤣

Patti, your watercoloring is gorgeous, when I saw the white rose I was awe struck, then I scrolled a tad and saw your hydrangea and I had to pick up my jaw! this is so beautiful, the leaves are so translucent I love it, you are doing amazing with your paint brushes friend! Heart Hugs, Colleen

I do my own spa treatments and believe me they don't help much. No wrinkle/pore magic there. So save your money for the frames Michele talked about. Those paintings are gorgeous, Patti. You see trouble with what you went through to paint them but all we see is the beauty.

Nope, never had a spa day either! I reckon if you offered me a manicure or a new set of dies, I know which I'd choose!
Your watercolouring looks AMAZING! The texture on your leaves is fab and the detailing in your hydrangea definitely gets a Wow from me!
